Problem: Being in a Funk

  • Feeling depleted and worn out from wearing all the hats of being a mom: chef, housecleaner, taxi driver, grocery shopper, event planner and on and on.
  • Not having enough time or help.
  • Poor self-care.
  • Being on the clock 24 hr/7days a week

Dance my friend! There’s something about turning up your favorite upbeat song and just letting your body FEEL the music and dance.

Try it!

It’s easy.

It’s free.

You can do it from the comforts of your own home. And, better yet, make it a family dance party.

So many times when my kids were fighting or being demanding and the energy at home was in the dumps – you know what I mean. Everyone is about to pull their hair out. It’s these times the most where dancing has completely transformed our day from disaster to fun and connection.

It’s quite amazing when you turn on that fun song and you witness your children come alive and just bust a move and have fun. My 2 year old son is so funny to watch when I turn music. He just starts dancing all around the house with the biggest smile on his face. And, my 5 year old daughter loves to get all dressed and turn the living room into her dance floor.

Conclusion

  • Turn up the music and start dancing!!!
  • Start with 1 song and go from there; let it be easy and fun
  • Get out of your head (your funk), release some feel good endorphins to feel happier and role-model great healthy ways to get out of funks
  • Please comment below with your favorite song, so we can help each other create our own fun dance playlist

Much love to you Mama!!! You’ve got this!!!
