5 Ways I Want to Help Overwhelmed, Stressed Mamas

This is a safe place where I authentically share my journey from being a burned out, overly stressed, anxious and lost mother to a woman reclaiming her power and following her joy and dreams.   1. Prioritizing your needs first – self-care
    I want to help you value yourself and see that in order to show up for your family you need to fill your cup first. It took me so long to finally realize that for me to truly be there for my children I needed to take care of my needs first.
    I plan to help you shift from viewing self-care as selfish to an act of love for your family and yourself. By putting your oxygen mask on first, you’re better equipped to handle the needs of your family. From here, you come from a place of love, compassion, joy, happiness and peace.
    I will share practical ways to incorporate self-care into your daily life without it feeling like one item on your never ending To-Do List, so that it feels easy and nourishing.
  2. Creating habits that facilitate you thriving as a mother and woman
    Habits: so much possibility here. I’ll help you dive into your habits, mostly which ones are on auto-pilot, to find out which ones support you and the life you want to create and which ones you can let go of that keep you feeling stuck. I share practical ways to implement new habits and set you up for success to move from overwhelm and stress to flow and ease with lots of joy mixed in.
  3. Shifting your mindset to one that promotes more inner joy, love and peace
    Ever realize how much head chatter you get into that completely changes how you feel? That self-critical voice in your head that makes you feel defeated or like you keep messing up.
    Here, I’m going to share the amazing power of shifting your mindset – from the stories, interpretations and other self-sabotaging thoughts that prevent you from feeling joy, happiness, peace and alignment.
  4. Offering homeschool tips
    With just beginning my homeschool journey with my two oldest children (7 year old son and 5 year old daughter), I want to share what I find works to cultivate children’s natural curiosity and intrinsic desire to learn. From game-schooling, unit study and various other approaches to homeschooling, I’ll share an eclectic approach that is constantly evolving to better meet my children’s needs and keep learning fun and engaging.
    I’ll also share my educational background in food science and technology (bachelor and graduate degrees in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Food Science and Technology from New Mexico State University) with fun food science lessons and experiments.
  5. Write regular posts to support fellow mamas to feel more inspired and have actionable steps to create a thriving, joy-filled life On a regular basis (2-3 times per month), I’ll share updates and inspiring tips to help you on your journey back to self-discovery and finding your joy mixed in with what has been working for us with our homeschool journey. I’ll authentically share what I’ve learned and ideas to support you on your journey. I intend to provide relatable, actionable content to alleviate some of your current challenges as a mother, woman and possibly homeschooler.
